Today my favourite filmmaker turns 60.
Prelude
Fresh up on the website is a profile of a book I first read when I was 14. The story of the "Untouchables" - written by the man himself, Eliot Ness - is a fascinating and detailed book that reads like a novel. Check it out. Link in bio.
Fresh up is my all-encompassing look at the life and career of Andy Williams.
Before I fully embraced vintage media, for me it was Alec Baldwin, Mickey Rourke and Bruce Willis.
In a new series, we explore the era of American actors taking jobs abroad. While Clint Eastwood is the perfect example of an American taking a chance on a European production and becoming a star, there are a plethora of other Yankees who appeared in films made in Italy, Spain and elsewhere.
