“And there’s a bird outside our window…”

And there’s a bird outside our window
singing in the morning rain
she wears a smile as I wake
the rain rolls down the window
but as the sunshine beams from her eyes
I do nothing

but sit
and I’m safe and secure
and content
in her arms
and the dawn is soft
as it crawls upon the land
under cover of the falling mist
a new day opens up it’s arms
and we lay softly

and we’re alone
together and alone

(from “Part Two: Rosie”)

More of the same.
